By using WeighMyPrompt, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the service.

Service Description

WeighMyPrompt is a free, client-side web tool for counting AI tokens and estimating costs, and a directory of leaked/public system prompts. It runs entirely in your browser. We provide no backend services, no API, and no account system.

No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Token counts are estimates for non-OpenAI models. Pricing data may not reflect the latest rates from providers. Always verify costs with your API provider before making financial decisions.

Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, token counts for non-OpenAI models are approximations. Model pricing is based on publicly available information and may be outdated. Response time estimates are rough averages. Do not rely solely on WeighMyPrompt for production cost planning.

Your Content

Any text you enter into WeighMyPrompt stays in your browser. We have no access to it and take no responsibility for it. You are responsible for ensuring your prompts don't violate any laws or third-party rights.

System Prompts Directory

The system prompts listed at /system-prompts are extracted from public sources by the community. We don't claim ownership. If you are the creator of a listed tool and want your prompt removed or updated, contact hello@weighmyprompt.com.

Intellectual Property

WeighMyPrompt is open source software. The source code is available under the MIT License. You may use, modify, and distribute it according to the license terms.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall WeighMyPrompt or its contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
